Venus Slipper Orchid | Delenatii

A mottled evergreen showcase of elegance, these captivating 'Delenatii' Paphiopedilums are a must-have for any true orchid enthusiast, being admired for their vibrant white petals, purple/pink lips, and yellow staminodes. In the wild, this variety is endemic to Vietnam, and they were first discovered in the early 1900s by French army soldiers. They are considered reliable bloomers with their primary bloom cycle being between late Autumn and early Spring, however they can occasionally bloom later due to their ability to flower multiple times per year. They're also a fragrant variety, and said to have a wonderful sweet, rose-raspberry like scent. Overall, there's plenty to admire with these stunning Delentaiis, and if you're a fan of orchids or know someone who is, they're sure to inspire!
