Native to Africa, they prefer drought like conditions, growing during the milder months of Spring or Autumn and sitting dormant in Summer and Winter. They have little stem above the soil and usually a long slender root that is significant in comparison to the main body of the plant. All of the living stones species have a daisy-like flower. The plant sheds its outer layer as a new layer emerges. Sold Individually.
